Job Description

The National Recruiter is responsible for ensuring quality candidates are hired within specified recruiting goals by partnering with client managers to understand, develop, and implement specific recruiting strategies and processes. The National Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, and management of contract staff.

Location:

This position is located in Omaha, NE and is not eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts pre-screening interviews; builds profiles on qualified candidates; submits qualified candidates to client manager for interviewing
  • Partners with client managers and supervisors to evaluate, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies
  • Utilizing leads, referrals, and social media platforms, the National Recruiter builds and maintains a quality candidate pool
  • Employs a variety of sourcing techniques to identify a high-quality, diverse candidate pool in an efficient, cost-effective manner
  • Ensures the candidate's background meets the requirements on job descriptions, including license verification, background check, and drug screen
  • Responsible for overseeing the onboarding process of new hires in partnership with compliance specialists
  • Responsible for the maintenance of nurses on assignment; duties include but are not limited to, weekly processing of payroll, conflict resolution, retention, and contract management
  • Additional job duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of healthcare staffing recruiting experience
  • Outstanding organizational ability with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High energy and passion
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with customers/vendors and employees at all levels within the company
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Office and/or remote work as approved by supervisor
  • General office and administrative work

Physical Requirements:

This is largely a sedentary role; requiring minimal physical functions including but not limited to walking, standing, and sitting as deemed necessary. This position does require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. Ability to operate a computer, telephone, copier, and other office equipment.
